Phoenix Magazine is an authority when it comes to the best food in Arizona. Quiessence was listed in the Three Bites section of the online version of the publication for their modern twist on a classic Italian dessert, the panna cotta. The honey panna cotta from Quiessence was inspired by McClendon Farms’ blood oranges and their on-site edible garden enriched with lavender and roses. The honey and vanilla bean infused custard was delicately placed in a broth of rosy blood orange juice. Blood orange sorbet completed this light and seasonal dish.
